I've had the opportunity to test Ebb N Flow Outdoors' the upgrade jig over the past few trips, and I'm impressed with the results. The jig has consistently performed well, helping me land some nice snook.

I've been pairing the 1/8 oz the upgrade jig with 4" paddle tails, and this setup has proven effective in shallow waters. The jig's design and construction seem to be well-suited for targeting snook. Plus, the hooks are notably strong and sharp, which has made a big difference in my fishing experience.

Now that I’ve had this jig head tied on for a few months, I can give it a full review. I’ve fished this jig head from Arizona where it caught its first Smallmouth, to Florida where it caught some Florida Largemouth, Florida canals where I caught Oscars and peacocks, to pond hopping, and even to Ohio Creek Smallies.

This jig head pairs up perfectly with ZMan plastics. I put the dieZel Minnowz, jerk shade, and even the Trout Swimmerz. Put one bait on, and fish. No adjusting, no slipping, and no blow outs on baits. It’s the perfect size to keep your bait right where you want and need it.

What I’ll tell you, it doesn’t stop with Zman. Put it on a Zoom winged fluke, super salty fluke, and even a keitech. I did not use a bait it didn’t work well with.

The jig head has a unique roll, a unique parallel fall, and a unique stand up where I utilized it with a Zman Pro Craws and it presented the Claws perfectly.

I will forever have one tied on in my yak. I’ve also had some unique opportunities to pass some jig heads around and even the mid strolling guys really liked them. They specifically liked how the bait when paired with a Zman plastic stays perfectly parallel and you can shake it easily. The stout hook was great with Florida fish to finicky Lake Havasu winter fish.

South Florida has many species in freshwater and inshore brackish water that can be caught with soft plastics on The Upgrade Jig. I’ve used them quite a bit on Peacock Bass and largemouth but at different times of year they’re gonna catch snakeheads and snook, trout, and redfish too. They have the best baitkeeper and sharpest, strongest hooks I’ve ever used.

I liked my first tumbler so much, I purchased a second! The keep liquids cold for over 24 hours. The lid offers a variety of options for drinking to fit the outdoors lover with a big gulp and also be used in the office with a slower flow to stat hydrated. The built in straw is great for someone with a need for stability while drinking.

I really like the design of these, I use them on my 2.8” and 3.3” keitech swim baits and love the high quality hooks. Buy these and you won’t be disappointed at all.

This jig is one of my personal favorites if I’m using artificial or even cut bait. I have caught well over 40 fish on the upgrade jig and my go to set up has to be the silver eye paired up with a 4 inch Zman swim bait (works like a charm)!

I recently used the upgrade jig and let me tell you it will catch the fire out of some fish. The attention to detail in the jig head design is amazing and really maximizes your soft plastic bait life. There is not a jig head on the market that will hold the bait like the Upgrade !
